How to Use Swag Bucks Part 7: Special Offers

Search & Win

Welcome to Part 7 in my How to Use Swag Bucks series.  Hopefully you are learning how to use Swag Bucks and maximizing your earnings, so that you can start redeeming for lots of great prizes!

Special Offers are one more avenue for racking up your Swagbucks (SBs).  From the Swag Bucks home page, pull down the "Earn" menu and scroll down eight spots to find the Special Offers.  Once you click on it, you will see a page with five different tabs (Gambit, Trial Pay, Radium One, Payment Wall, Super Rewards).  Each tab is a separate host for a number of random offers.  Take note of the tabs at the top or side bar of each that further categorize the offers, and click on what interests you.

I am very cautious about using the Special Offers, simply because I am not comfortable giving out any credit card information, and many require a purchase. Therefore, I always select the "free" or "free offers" tab right away, in order to skip over any requiring purchase.  Also, be warned that if you give out your phone number, you will start receiving telemarketing and sometimes "empty" phone calls with no one on the other end.  I just don't anymore.  However, if you use Special Offers wisely, they are safe and useful.

My first suggestion is to open a "junk" email account, if you don't already have one.  Many of the offers require just a name and email address to earn SBs.  It's quick, easy, and safe, but you may find lots of spam and junk mail landing in your email account afterwards.  I have created a free hotmail account that I use just for signing up for these type of free offers, and then I just clear it out periodically.

My personal favorites are those where you simply watch a short video or visit a company's facebook page.  I don't earn an extravagant number of SBs from the Special Offers, but it's very easy just to scan through them once a day and earn an extra 20 or so.

Be sure to let me know if you have any other great insights or suggestions for using Swag Bucks!
