How to Use Swag Bucks (Part 2): Toolbar Searches

Search & Win

As a quick refresher, this series is dedicated to helping Swag Bucks members maximize their earning potential.  If you missed last week's introduction, you can locate it here.

This week I am introducing you to the Swag Bucks Toolbar.  This is a handy gadget that can be added to your web browser in a matter of seconds.  Login to Swag Bucks, and at the top of your screen you'll see the button called "Toolbars."  Click on that button.

You will be taken to the page that instructs you how to install the Toolbar.  In the upper left area, there is a large, purple, rectangle-shaped button that says "Download."  Click on that button, and then you will likely be prompted to "allow" the application.  Once you "allow" the application, it will do all of the work for you.

After you have installed the Toolbar, you should see a new strip that goes across the top portion of your internet screen called swagbucks (it will be labeled in blue lowercase letters).  Just next to that label you will see a white empty box.  That is your search box.

Whenever you want to search for a topic on the internet, simply type the words in that box and then hit enter.  It will search for pages that match your criteria, just as any other search tool would do for you.

What's special about this search tool, is that you will be rewarded with Swagbucks on a completely random basis.  Depending on how often you do web searches, you could be rewarded multiple times daily.

I typically earn Swagbucks for about 4 searches per day, earning anywhere from 7-25 Swagbucks each search.  On Mega Swagbucks Days- aka MSBD Fridays, you have the opportunity to earn as many as 1,000 Swagbucks for a winning search (results not typical though : ).

For further assistance, I have created a quick video for you to watch.  As a teacher, I know that some of us can learn by reading, and others need to be able to see first hand to catch on!

Stay tuned for Part 3 of the How to Use Swag Bucks Series next week, when I will explain how to earn up to 6 Swagbucks daily.
