How to Use Swag Bucks (Part 6): Trusted Surveys

Search & Win

Welcome to Part 6 of the How to Use Swag Bucks series.  This week I would like to highlight the Swag Bucks feature Trusted Surveys.

In Part 3, I explained how to earn one point daily, just by logging into the Trusted Survey feature.  However, there are sooooooooo many more Swagbucks (SBs) to be earned with Trusted Surveys.  The typical survey is valued anywhere from 50-150 SB, and you can take as many surveys daily as you have opportunities available.

To find your surveys, click on the "Earn" button either on the Swag Bucks home page or on your toolbar.  On the pull down menu, scroll down and select "Trusted Surveys."  The very first time, you may be asked to set up your preferences and whatnot.  After that, you will be taken straight to your dashboard each time, where you can see all of the surveys currently available.  As I am blogging this, I happen to have nine available.

I have had great luck with Trusted Surveys and use them frequently to pad my earnings.  I try to complete a survey once or twice a week, and I usually do it during the time when my kiddos are napping or after they go to bed for the night.  However, they are also pretty easy to do while cooking and doing other little household tasks that have frequent pauses.

I have to be completely honest about these surveys, as there are some limits to your earning potential.  You may have 12 surveys available on your dashboard when you login, and wind up not qualifying for any of them.  When you begin a survey, you are usually asked a series of "qualifying" questions, to make sure that the survey applies to you and to make sure a fair mix of the population gets surveyed.  You might start all 12 surveys, not qualify, and end up with no SBs.  It can be very frustrating when this happens.  As a consolation, Swag Bucks will give you one Swagstakes entry for a chance at winning prizes each time you begin a survey but fail to qualify.

One way to lessen the chances of starting a survey that you won't qualify for is to complete your survey profiles.  These are short questionnaires about your lifestyle, education, shopping, habits, etc.  Swag Bucks will use that information to tell you your chances of qualifying for each survey, and that information is displayed on your dashboard next to each available survey.  Another perk to completing these profiles is that you get extra SBs for each profile you complete!
