Right now Aldi is featuring a tri-color package of peppers for only $1.79. That's the price of one red or yellow pepper most days at Walmart or Dillons (if not even cheaper)!
Last time they were on sale like this I bought them in bulk, cleaned, sliced, and froze them. It worked beautifully. Since we have almost depleted our supply already, I stocked up with 12 packages again to do the same.
I love summertime fresh produce prices!!!
