I thought I'd heard somewhere that when Dillons has their 10 for $10 sale you had to buy 10 items. McPherson Dillons didn't have something I wanted that was included in the 10 for $10 so I asked if I had to buy 10 items. The helpful employee said no, I could buy just one if I wanted and still get it at the $1 price. I knew that was the policy at Scott's and was happy to find out it also is at Dillons.
ReplyDeletePam, that's exactly right. In fact, anytime Dillons advertises a certain number of items for a certain price (i.e. 3/$5), you get that price per item no matter how many you purchase. The only exception is when they have a "mega" type event, where you have to buy a certain number to get a dollar amount off of your purchase. Frequently it's a 10 item deal where you have to buy that number of "participating items" to get $5 off your total (or $.50 per item in other words). The key is to look for the language specifiying you must buy a certain number of "participating items" in the sale description, because it will always be there in those types of sales : )
