2/12/2011 Recipe of the Week

My menu this past week featured Hot Pizza Dip from, something we had not yet tried.  If you read my Dillons Trip, you'll see how I also got some great deals on the ingredients.

I actually made my dip in the crock pot.  If you want it to look great, I would recommend following the directions as stated.  However, I think it will taste much better if you stick it in the crock pot on low and just let all of the flavors mix and meld together for a couple of hours.  One reviewer suggested that it was even better the next day, and I second that opinion.

We used organic chips (see Dillons post again), and fell in love with them.  They were black bean flavored, and absolutely delicious!  Have fun with this one; it's a keeper.
